“All I can say
is wow”
For the last 2 years I’ve been enjoying
my home theater setup which included the Mythos Twos for the front channels,
Mythos Four for the center channel duty and Mythos Fives for the surrounds.
A Pro100+TL subwoofer provided the rumble to round out the system. I just
recently upgraded to the BP7006's for the front with C/L/R
2500 for the
center along with a SuperCube III. All I can say is wow, what a day in
night difference in sound! Everything sounds great watching movies in
the new Dolby True HD and DTS Master HD formats. The bass output in the
BP7006 is very impressive for its slender size! Combined with the C/L/R
2500, the bass effects sound like they are coming behind the T.V, just
unbelievable imaging! I plan on upgrading the surrounds with the BPX's
to complete the setup. Thanks Definitive for the best home theater speakers
on the market!!

from other manufacturers?'"
I recently purchased the ProMonitor 80s. In order to continue building my entire system with Definitive
speakers, I just purchased the ProCenter C2 speaker. All I can say is: "What was I thinking when
I purchased speakers from other manufacturers?"
The ProCenter C2 really shines in all aspects. Music comes out naturally and crisp. I still get
goose bumps from listening to James Taylor's "Hourglass" 5.1 SuperAudio CD. I thought James
came over for a beer and decided to play a couple of songs in my living room. The level of
detail this speaker can bring is "out of this world"; and please do not get me started on movies.
Watching the "Battle of Carthage" scene on GLADIATOR with the C2 is a "life-altering" experience.
It felt like I was right in the middle of the arena.
After 10 years of constant mistakes, I have finally seen the light. You don't have to believe me
or trust me. You don't even know me, but I bet you can believe your own ears, so if you
are in the Troy, Michigan, area, do yourself a favor and stop by Pecar's Home Theater and
listen to Definitive Technology speakers... your ears will really thank you!

"Boggles the mind and almost defies
physics!"
This is my 2nd Def Tech center channel upgrade and WOW! What a difference the sub makes!
The CLR 2500 is amazing! I sold my CLR 2000 to a close friend.
I missed it at first because it served me well for 2 years,
but the pain of parting with it vanished when I plugged in
the CLR 2500 and ran some movies through it. Mel Gibson's voice in SIGNS and THE
PATRIOT is down right scary. It sounds as if he is in your room,
talking to you. The T-Rex screams from the JURASSIC
PARK movies are incredible.
Any rapid gun shots or explosions come through with total authority. I was
impressed and totally satisfied, but it gets better.
I ran my Soundcheck CD through it. It defies all bass rules. Sitting on top of my HDTV, 54" high, in the
middle of the room... a 25Hz test tone sends enough bass energy into the room that you can slightly feel it.
And this is just a center channel with a tiny 8" woofer and a 125-Watt amp! Boggles the mind and almost defies physics!
I can't wait to get my hands on the CLR 3000! I will get
another CLR 2500 and move the pair to the back of the room
to finish the 7.1 setup. I've said this numerous times in previous raves,
but what you have done with this product blows me away. This is why you
have repeat customers. You open their eyes with such incredible products,
so they can't help but come back for more! Thanks for making home theater
what it is. Words can't describe how happy I am with all of your products!

"They say the center channel is the
most important for Home Theater, now I believe it!"
What a Center speaker! Upgrade #5. I purchased the C/L/R
3000 last week.
I now have 2 BP30s, the C/L/R 3000, 2 x ProSub 200TLs, 2
x UIW BPZ/As as surrounds, and 2 ProMonitor200s as rears. I purposely purchased
loudspeakers that used the same 6 1/2" bass/midrange drivers. For DVD-Audio
and music in general, they sound fantastic. I can't believe
how much bass information comes from the center channel. Even some commercials
have great, rocking sound tracks. I replayed the DVD chapters I use for
Home Theater demos and was really impressed with increased detail.
I'm using a center pre-out to drive the C/L/R 3000 sub and have the mids and highs bridged. As I
suspected, I have turned down the two ProSub200TLs, and combined with the new center speaker, deep bass is
tighter and more musical. My room is 22x25 with two large openings, and still the subwoofers
are only at about 9-10 o'clock, less than 1/3 power!
This upgrade really surprised me with how much of a quality jump it made, I expected a marginal improvement,
but Home Theater sound tracks have just blossomed. Even regular TV sources are vastly better. They say
the center channel is the most important for Home Theater, now I believe it!

"The C/L/R 2000 is a no brainer
if you want a killer center!"
This review mimics my other ones. I thought I had a great theater, that is until I stepped up to Definitives!
There was a time when I was deciding between the C/L/R 2000 and the C/L/R 2002. I wanted the one that would
complement my BP30s the best, and seeing as the C/L/R
2000 has the same 6.5" woofers, I decided to go for it.
I would spend double of what I paid to own this speaker. The quality of its sound and even its cabinet is second to none.
The dialog is so smooth, I wish I could describe it. It's just... beautiful sounding, as if it takes no effort
to reproduce anything thrown at it! The bass extension is phenomenal to say the least. I believe that's
important for a center channel. The C/L/R 2000 is a no brainer if you want a killer center! And as
I perceived, it perfectly complements by BP30s for the front duties. I have BPXs for surrounds and the
PF15TL+ to rock the foundation! The sonic beauty is wonderful on the ears indeed. And ONLY Definitive
Technology could pull this off!
Life is short. The time we spend on this planet should NOT be taken for granted. Spend a few dollars more and
get what you deserve. ANY product from Definitive is worth all the accolades in the world, you couldn't go
wrong even if you tried. Happy Listening!

"Resolution of this center channel
is nothing short of amazing."
I have recently installed a 7.1 channel setup of Definitives:
UIW 75s for the front and for the rear centers, UIW BPZ/A rear channel
effect speakers, and a C/L/R
2300 center. (I already have a 15" powered sub.) I am
driving these with a Yamaha RXV-995 5.1 channel amp, but
have planned the purchase of a B&K AVR-507 in January.
Quite simply, these speakers are amazing! The depth of the
C/L/R 2300 has to be heard to be believed. Resolution of this center channel
is nothing short of amazing. The UIW 75s are great for home theater, but
are also very fast and musical. And the UIW BPZ/As... These things create
a soundstage that is massive! Run and get these things for yourself.
